Beyonce Has Trouble Taking the Stairs at the Met Gala

Beyonce Knowles was quite the stunner in Emilio Pucci at Monday evening's Met Costume Institute Gala, but her beauty came at the price of mobility.

Like many of the guests at the star-studded bash, Knowles had trouble mounting the steps into the museum in her floor-length gown. Her husband Jay-Z appeared to be leading her step by step, until a friend swooped in to speed up the process. The laborious efforts were, of course, documented by the swarm of photographers clamoring around the red carpet.

Other guests we imagine had a tough time moving around: Madonna (in Stella McCartney),Christina Ricci (in Zac Posen) and the fabulously feathered Daphne Guinness (in Alexander McQueen).

Britney Spears Releases 'Till The World Ends' Video

The music video for Till The World Ends (the Ke$ha-written song off of Britney Spears' new album, Femme Fatal) is out! It features themes from all of the artists that have been making music while Britney was driving with her babies in the front seat with her and using umbrellas incorrectly, like the leotards of Lady Gaga and the underground terrains and arenas that we saw in Nelly Furtado's Maneater. This video (below) is rumored to be the director's cut, as numerous websites reported that two versions were shot: one where the storyline revolves around the apocalypse, while the other one was to be the "unabridged version of Britney's dance moves."

But in terms of what we have, it's not bad. One of the things we can't criticize it for is the lack of physicality (New York Magazine has made fantastic observations that 1) Britney bobs around and throws her head back to convey energy, and 2) her back-up dancers' jobs are to basically keep her upright) because apparently we're going to get that from the other video. It's also become clear that she's quite a fan of doing that thing where you thrust your upper body forward and then ratchet it back, the way you when you're gagging...just faster and while smiling. So for what we have, Till The World Ends Part A is viewable. I'm not one to commend its basic theme of the world crumbling while people are scrambling to go down manholes so they can survive the destruction while enjoying an underground dance party with studded leather jackets. But it seems like if the inclinations to think and understand are suspended, it's fine.

Hayden Panettiere Premieres "I Can Do It Alone" Video

Hayden Panettiere has premiered her first music video for "I Can Do It Alone" from the upcoming animated filmHoodwinked Too! Hood VS. Evil and, well, it's... trying to be interesting, at least. She sits and sings and, in a very non-innovative way, the video cuts back and forth between her and animated clips of the film. For a generic pop song, it's sounds like just that: a generic pop song. Undoubtedly auto-tuned and adjusted, her voice comes off like every other manufactured vocal part does these days. Then again, maybe we're wrong! Maybe, just maybe, perhaps in the deleted scenes of Remember the Titans, Denzel Washington plays this song before every game and that'show they go undefeated! Yeah! Maybe! Or, you know, maybe not.
